Our 2025 year-end production, ON THE MOVE! is right around the corner. Here is some important information for dancers and their families.


SHOWS & LOCATION

Our classes will be split into 2 separate shows.

View the Recital Spreadsheet to determine if your child is in Show A, Show B, or both shows.

Show A
  • Show A will perform Friday, May 9th at 6:30 and Saturday, May 10th at 2:00.
  • Show A will have a Dress Rehearsal on Wednesday, May 7th.
Show B
  • Show B will perform Saturday, May 10th at 6:30 and Sunday, May 11th at 2:00.
  • Show B will have a Dress Rehearsal on Thursday, May 8th.

All performances and dress rehearsals will be held at The Lenfest Center at Washington and Lee University. 


RECITAL WEEK SCHEDULE

  • View the Detailed Recital Week Schedule for info about spacing and dress rehearsal days/times.
  • Students will practice on the stage at The Lenfest Center at W&L
  • Recital Week will include a Dress Rehearsal for each show with full costume, hair, and makeup.
  • It is important for dancers to attend all rehearsals and be on time.

HAIR & TIGHTS REQUIREMENTS

  • View the Recital Spreadsheet to see the specific hair style and style of tights the dance teacher has assigned for each costume.
  • A limited number of tights of all colors can be purchased at TheStudio.

NUDE LEOTARDS

  • Dancers who have multiple dances within the same show (for example a ballet, tap, and jazz costume change) are required to wear a nude leotard.
  • Nude leotards are flesh colored leotards worn underneath tights and dance costumes.
  • We require them for the dancers’ and staff members’ comfort and safety during quick costume changes.

ORDER FORM for RECITAL SUPPLIES 

  • All Recital Order Forms were due on March 20th.
  • A limited supply of tights and nude leotards are available for purchase. Speak to Mrs. Vicki at drop off for details.

TICKETS

  • Tickets went on sale on Monday, April 7th.
  • Tickets are $12 each.
  • All accounts must be paid in full to receive recital tickets.
  • All attendees must have a ticket.
  • We strongly recommend purchasing your tickets as early as possible. Shows will sell out.

COSTUMES

  • Recital costumes will be sent home the week of April 7th.
  • All accounts must be up to date to receive your dancer’s costumes.
